Here in this improbable
valley lies a glowing,
vibrantly electric
microcosm. It is but
an illusion, a mirage
to the eyes of the
homesick sailor; a
true marvel of life
and abundance to
excess
right in the middle
of the goddamn desert.
How it exists at all, well,
I have no idea.
But here we are traveling:
this lush, unlikely world
we are exploring, hungry
and longing for its many
treasures.
